Mickey: I’m so bored!

J.C.: Me too.

Mickey: (pauses, then sighs heavily) I’m bored.

J.C.: Me too.

Mickey: (pause) I’m bored.

J.C.: Mickey, stop saying that!

Mickey: I can’t help it J.C.! I’m bored.

J.C.: So am I but you don’t have to keep saying it over and over.

Mickey: But there’s nothing to do on this ark.

J.C.: You mean boat.

Mickey: Right--there’s nothing to do on this boat. (pause) I’m bored.

J.C.: Me too.

Mickey: (pauses, then calls to Shem off stage) Hey Shem, are we there yet?

Shem: (heard from off stage) No!

Mickey: (to J.C.) We’ve got to be getting close though, don’t you think?

J.C.: Yeah, we’ve been out here an awful long time.

Mickey: What do you think, 3-4 weeks?

J.C.: At least that.

Mickey: (to Shem off stage) Hey Shem, are we almost there yet?

Shem: (angrily) NO!

Mickey: (to Shem) Well, how much longer?

Shem: (aggravated) It’s only been two days!

Mickey & J.C.: (looking at each other, speaking at the same time) Two days!

Mickey: (whining, scooting closer to J.C. as he does) Ooooh, we’re never gonna get off this boat!
